As the off-grid lighting and energy sector is relatively new and still developing in many countries, there is often a lack of expertise in public sector energy access agencies regarding off-grid versus on-grid solar solutions, which can impact project objectives. Some countries, for example, lack the capacity within their government bodies to create and implement policies and regulations identified as favoring off-grid electrification, such as standards offices.<\/p>\n

As part of our commitment, we are working with our government partners to increase this capacity. Our experience shows that government capacity building can maximize results.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
