At the end of this capacity-building workshop, recipients will have : <\/p>\n<p>\u00fc A good understanding of the ROGEAP subsidy mechanism and access to funding;<\/p>\n<p>\u00fc A good command of off-grid solar photovoltaic technology, the quality assurance framework (standards) and environmental and social aspects;<\/p>\n<p>\u00fc Tools for developing business models and market expansion strategies,<\/p>\n<p>The Ecobank Nigeria representative reaffirmed the pan-African banking group&#8217;s readiness to support the sector and strengthen its collaboration with the ECOWAS Commission.<\/p>\n<p>ROGEAP is a project jointly funded by the World Bank, the Clean Technology Fund and the Netherlands Directorate General for International Cooperation, and is being implemented by the ECOWAS Commission&#8217;s Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Digitization for its Component 1 (Developing a regional market for stand-alone solar systems).
