Review of ROGEAP’s monitoring and evaluation tools: the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) and the Project Finance Manager (PFM) meet in Lagos to align their positions.
From 11 to 14 February 2025, the implementation team for the Regional Off-Grid Electricity Access Project (ROGEAP) and the Project Fund Manager – a consortium selected to implement the project – travelled to Lagos to review several working documents, including:
- Updating the intervention framework and the results monitoring plan
- Methodologies for indicator display and data collection
- Incorporating user feedback to improve follow-up
- Strengthening data management practices
- The Caneva review for the project’s mid-term review mission.
For four days, the experts examined these issues, and the ROGEAP coordinator, Elhadji SYLLA, expressed his satisfaction at the end of the proceedings.
ROGEAP is an ECOWAS initiative jointly funded by the World Bank, the Clean Technology Fund and the Netherlands Development Organisation, through the Directorate-General for International Cooperation.
It is being implemented by ECOWAS, ECREE and BOAD, with BOAD responsible for implementing component 2.
